What can we say about the Nokia 6220 CLASSIC, well firstly congratulations to Aaron Aylward who won this handset last week! This classic phone is attempting to regain some ground within the 5 mp market, and that it is doing. The compact smartphone carries some serious imaging power. Xenon flash, active lens cover, VGA video and TV-out if that doesn’t get your tech juices flowing then this will - One of the most compact bodies in the Symbian realm squeezes in GPS and HSDPA. The new classic has a serious set of skills!!!
Key features

• Symbian 9.3 OS, S60 3.2 UI

Nokia Music Store
by user on March 29th, 2009
The Nokia Music Store is simple, cheap and the best cure for boardom. Its so simple, at a click of a button or in the 5800’s case a touch of the screen you can be transported into a music store on the bus, Luas or even in a lecture. You can download the newest albums and song that are out there while getting the option to preview them before you buy – probably not a good idea if your in that lecture hall.
All you have to do is;
-Access the Music Store on your phone
-Log in or Sign up if you already haven’t
-Tap ‘buy music credit’ – then either enter a promo code or give your credit card details
-Then you’re ready to browse where ever you are!
With grey and blue fonts layered on a clean white background, the Nokia Music Store is a sharp looking site. The launch page of the Nokia Music Store offers a selection of track suggestions and pre-made playlists from top selling singles and albums, to celebrity playlists!! It’s the ultimate in Music Stores - when you’re not in the mood to make a playlist you can just download one of the pre made playlists off the store and the party starts from there! http://music.nokia.ie/IE/home.aspx
The Music Store adds so much to any phone particularly the phone I am currently using; the new Nokia touch 5800 - check it out at http://www.nokia.ie/5800 .

The Nokia Ambassadors lived it up last night at the Nokia Young Fashion Designer Awards! It was a highly anticipated night for the Dublin Fashionista scene & lived up to all expectations. We were invited to promote 7310 Supernova!
We had 3 handsets to give away - Best dressed male, best dressed female and a golden ticket that was hidden under one of the seats beside the catwalk.
It was an unbelievable night, we were last up to the catwalk so we got put right beside the models - there were no complaints from me!

Aoife Gallagher - WINNER
The overall winner of the Nokia Young Fashion Designer Award was Aoife Gallagher from Limerick Senior College with her supernova inspired creation. Along with the honour of winning the competition, Aoife collected a cheque for €5000 along with a huge amount of press and respect within the fashion world!
Runners-up were Lynn Allen and Ciara Glynn who each collected cheques for €1000.

DIT Fashion Show
by user on March 13th, 2009

Last night was one of the biggest nights in the DIT calendar with the DIT Fashion show hitting Vicar Street. I was modeling in the show myself and all the models and crew had a brilliant night and that was before the after party in Tivoli! Nokia came on board and helped with the funding of the show by putting an advert in the programme.
This year the theme of the show was ‘Tribal Expression - the urban theory’, One city, many tribes! I my self was in the Hippy Bohemian tribe. Last night the show allowed the audience to explore the city that is the catwalk and the tribes that walk it, breathe and live it! The clothes gracing the catwalk were a mixture of colourful and cutting edge styles by international brands sourced from high street stores. More photos of this brillaint charity event can be seen here http://www.irishtimes.com/indepth/slideshows/fashion-show/
The next big event comming up in the DIT calender is on the 31st of March The Bam Ball more info in the comming days http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1568598998&ref=ts#/event.php?eid=60106704714&ref=ts
