Last night saw a huge event in the fashion calendar. The NYFDA’s took place in college green and we were brought along to promote the 7310 supernova!

Prying ourselves away from the (free) bar, we had 3 handsets to give away - Best dressed male, best dressed female and a golden ticket that was hidden under one of the seats beside the catwalk.

As for the event itself - we were late as we had to wait for everyone attending the event to take their seats so UNFORTUNATELY we had to stand right beside the passage way the models walked through before hitting the catwalk. It’s a tough life.

The overall winner of the Nokia Young Fashion Designer Award was Aoife Gallagher from Limerick Senior College with her supernova inspired creation. Along with the honour of winning the competition, Aoife collected a cheque for €5000 along with huge notoriety in the fashion community.

Runners-up were Lynn Allen and Ciara Glynn who each collected cheques for €1000.
